1. Who can audition?
Singaporean aged 18 and above who has a passion for live entertainment. Whether you are a stand-up comedian, a drag performer, or both!
2. Do I need prior stage experience?
Nope! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-timer with raw talent and charisma, everyone is welcome to audition.
3. How do I register?
You can register your interest by filling up the form above.
Deadline: Sunday, 13 April 2025, 11:59pm SGT
4. When and where are the auditions?
Auditions will be split into two (2) sessions:
- Session 1: Thursday, 17 April 2025 (8pm – 10.30pm SGT)
- Session 2: Wednesday, 23 April 2025 (8pm – 10.30pm SGT)
The finale will be held on May 16 from 9pm – 11pm. Make sure to keep yourself free as there will be no alternate date available if you are unable to make it.
5. What should I prepare for the audition?
Prepare a 3–5 minute live performance showcasing your comedic or drag performance. Be original and bold!
6. What does the winner receive?
- $1,000 cash prize
- An opportunity to perform in S.O.S Kumar at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands this July
- Exclusive mentorship by Kumar during S.O.S Kumar show season
- A two-year engagement with Ra Ra Productions
What is the rehearsal period for S.O.S. Kumar like?
Rehearsals will run across several weeks leading up to the show season of S.O.S Kumar.
8. Do I have to be a comedian or drag performer only?
No — we encourage unique talents that blend genres! If you’re both, even better. Just bring your best self to the stage.
9. Will there be a live finale?
Yes! The finalists will compete in a live finale on Friday, 16 May 2025 in front of a live audience and a panel of judges.
